We are extremely dissatisfied with the deceptive practices exhibited by this company (the company is under new ownership now, but still same practices of charging more). The original sales person stated that sidewalk repair would be included & that “service” (wall tightening) would continue through 2025. However, the sales tactic, verbal promises & written contract with a small checkbox indicated that we declined the sidewalk repair. It is such a pleasure to have met Gage Nidy & Breyer Atkins . They went out of thier way & attached my fallen instalation, very polite , made sure I understood everything , cleaned up any mess & even put up with a mouthy dog. The Basement Authority of West Virginia/Groundworks did an excellent job of encapsulating our crawlspace. Supplemental supports were added in order to correct a couple sticking doors. And a sagging concrete slab floor in the garden shed was raised back to its original position. Jordan and his crew went above and beyond to level out some high spots and give us some extra clearance under HVAC ducting. Groundwork’s is a great company. They were prompt with my basement inspection and worked diligently until they found a plan of attack that fit in my budget. When the crew showed up to do the work they knew what they were doing, addressed any concerns they found and how to fix them. They worked fast and explained completely how everything worked. The work was professional level and the supervisor Jared Garnes was awesome!
