Poor communication. $750 (non refundable) to do soil testing so their “free quote” would be accurate, and then they provided their quote without testing. When asked about it, they said testing is actually done during the permit phase, which has a separate line item in their bill. So they charge you twice for testing. Foundation medix is amazing. We have had them do some as our older house is built on a hill. I have dealt with many different companies when searching for quotes and have been quoted some outrageous amounts. Foundation Medix not only was in a reasonable price range but was quick to get the work done and was friendly throughout the process. If your in the NOVA area contact them!
Been battling a wet crawl space, and the work Foundation Medix has done has really helped and provided less headache on me trying to keep the space dry. This is a 10 Year Follow-up and review. I’m a Realtor here in the Stafford area (24yrs now). I hired FM for a listing in N Stafford back on 12/30/2015 (yep, the day before NY’s Eve). I cannot stress enough how professional the tech was (Mitch). I called FM and another foundation company to get not only an estimate but to actually assess the real issue.
