Chris and Pete completed extensive work on my 1968 Lotus Elan. The chokes in the Webbers were reduced to overcome the bogging down below 2000 rpm due to an SE camshaft fitted by previous ownership. Engine and gearbox removed to change clutch to standard from the competition one which caused take up to be fierce, unsuitable for road use. The gearbox was taken to his specialist in Leeds for a strip down, all found to be ok. New to Lotus ownership and mine came with many problems due to having stood unused for so long. Blown away with how friendly Chris and Steve both are and both are true gents of the motor industry. Their work is meticulous, yet they are sympathetic to your needs and budget. They don’t do work that doesn’t need doing yet happy to do what’s necessary, quickly and efficiently. Cannot explain how happy I am to have this team working on my Esprit.
