Dr Fouad has been instrumental in assisting me with my private health concerns, and he is an invaluable asset to Port Alberni. In the event he wasn't here, it would be near impossible to travel to Nanaimo for procedures and such, and his continued support is and must be funded to continue in Port Alberni. Thank you to Dr Fouad, and his fantastic office staff!
I can't say enough about Dr. Fouad. I've been a patient since 2014 and recently I am post 6.5 weeks from an abdominal hysterectomy. Him and the team were incredible. I felt support and heard the whole step of the way. I love his straight forwardness, explains how he does things and why. His relaxed, calm, grounding demeanor, gave me full trust - which going into a major surgery is very much needed. He is thorough and honest. I can’t thank Dr. Foaud enough for the incredible care I received during one of the hardest experiences of my life. I had an ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery, and from the moment I met him, I felt I was in capable and compassionate hands. He reassured me I will have a healthy pregnancy and took me on as a new patient! ❤️
Outdated and cruel.. He told me not to yell during labour when I was in transition, an unmedicated and precipitous (4 hour labour) at that. He rushed a life altering procedure with me then took all of 2 minutes to “repair” me. He also said delayed cord clamping would cause an infection, thankfully my fiancé advocated against that. Highly recommend you go anywhere else to have your baby without needless trauma.
When I first met Dr. Fouad, I was referred to him due to my high risk pregnancy. The amount of care, and reassurance I received from him was wonderful. His heart is so pure, and he really truly cares about you as a human being. He does not just treat you like a patient, but a friend. He checks in regularly, and wants to genuinely know how you are feeling. He is personable, funny, and friendly.
