I manage a cat rescue in CT & one of our residents was diagnosed with heart worm disease. Foster Hospital immediately took him under their care & successfully performed life saving heart worm removal surgery. This is so rare in cats & hardly ever seen at this stage of infection. The hospitality of the entire staff made this nightmare so much easier to navigate & we are forever grateful to the swift care they provided in saving Sassy’s life!
On the night of Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:30 PM, I brought my cat to the emergency clinic because he was experiencing a severely swollen face. Naturally, we were quite worried about his condition. Unfortunately, the woman who checked us in made light of the situation, joking that our cat might have had a mouse stuck in his face. About 2 weeks ago I had to bring my elderly cat in for some seemingly abrupt issues and while we unfortunately lost her, I truly believe she was in great hands at the end. The staff here are so kind every step of the way. The very kind person who took my initial call made me feel calm and they said such nice things that I really needed to hear, which made me feel confident bringing her in. DO NOT COME HERE!!! EVER!! please !! I came here for an emergency visit with my hedgehog that needed to be taken care of urgently and was told over the phone twice that it would be completely fine and that she could get the care I specified she needs. they took my pet and left me in the lobby without telling me what they were doing with her. only after AN HOUR of waiting in The lobby with no information.. we were told she got her vital signs taken. awesome. not sure why that took an hour, but ok, might be short staffed, fine... read more
