Update on previous review which was a typo. I stated I found a firm for 60% less. It is actually 35% less.
I loved working with Doug. The rates here are quite high and they take too long to get a return done. I found a firm for 60% less who can get my returns done in a week.
Several years ago I contacted a CPA at Foster and Associates with the possibility of hiring him. Before I could do that, he retired, and advised me not to work with the company. Since that time, I have been sent a bill multiple times a year and now every month, with an increasing amount, now over $400 for services never performed. I have asked for their work product, or any engagement letter from me at all, and they then conveniently remember I never hired them and promise to take me off their list.
