A go to spot if visiting the park for the first time or second time, such as myself. Great river and cliff views. Kids and kids at heart enjoy fossil hunting here. Currently the shoreline has some use restrictions until they clean up some previous storm damage.
Trail had beautiful scenery but a lot of roots growing in trail making it rough. We took a beach wagon (thinking it would be perfect to carry our stuff and fishing poles) but it didn't work well. Tipped over many times and hard to pull on trail. Definately check the tide schedule (our fault... we didn't think about that) but go before high tide. Very little beach/sand area but we still had a great experience and will go back.
