We love supporting local, family-owned businesses whenever we can! Today we visited Forx Farm, a family-owned artisan cheese manufacturer in Anderson County, South Carolina. They are known for their traditional, Dutch-style cheeses like Gouda, Gruyere, and Parmesan, all made using raw milk from local dairies. Don gave us a wonderful tour of the facility. AMAZING GOUDA! Excellent. We won in raffle at the TD Saturday Greenville Market. They won clients for life.
Wow! Had the gouda pimento cheese and the cultured butter on freshly toasted sourdough today its amazinggg!! Husband loves the 2 year aged gouda! And our daughter loves the parmesan. I like soft cheeses, so I got the gouda, but im really excited to try the bacon gouda. we haven't opened it up yet, saving it for when I make burgers.
Stopped by with my family today while making an upstate agricultural corridor trip and made the stop at Forx Farm. So glad we did. It was a great experience and the owner took time to show us how the cheese was made and aged. Purchased the smoked Gouda…. It is fantastic!!! Definitely will be back for more. Thank you for a great experience!
