Update Feb 2026— there has been no movement and our house is still not fixed nor does it meet code like it should have after the project. They’ve admitted we fell though the cracks but have been unwilling to remedy it. I had to have someone else fix a beam and they missed wood rot. We’ve had multiple engineers out to look at it, and they didn’t shim it properly nor did they excavate property so there isn’t the needed clearance under the house. I recently had Fortress Foundation out for an inspection, just since I had some concerns with my pier and beam foundation from a previous flag in my pre-purchase inspection. Chris came out, ran through all the checks and tests, and explained everything to me clearly, from house leveling checks to building codes. We called for an evaluation / estimate since we started seeing a gap between our driveway and garage with cracks forming in all the wrong places. Sam B. Came out right on time and was able to quickly spot what the likely cause was of the gaps. He was very friendly, polite, and professional and didn't try to pressure us into buying anything unnecessary. He pointed out what was likely causing it and told us we may be able to DIY it, since it hasn't gotten too damaged yet.
Great company to work with. If you want an honest estimate give them a call, they will let you know exactly what needs to be done and if the foundation is fine they will even give you tips to maintain it. Cant' recommend them enough.
