great installation, great experience, – Fortress Fencing installed a fence around my property, as well as an automatic gate. The friendly crew came out and installed the fence in a timely manner. We needed it installed quickly so that we could get moved into the home. We have small children and a dog that needed containment. Did not show for appointment – I spoke with Jason of Fortress Fencing a few times to solidify an appointment for an estimate for a backyard fence. Last Friday, 7/9/10, we had an appointment at 3:30pm. I left work early, was there at exactly 3:30pm - wait and waited. At 4pm, I called him and left a message asking if he was still coming, and to please call me back and let me know. great fence company – had a very bad experience with raleigh fence contractors - they took my money and took off. Jason with fortress fence helped me out immediately giving me a very competitive contract. Completed my fence in a very professional and timely fashion!! Highly recommend this company. Best fence company in the Triangle – I highly recommend this fence company. We got quotes from 4 different companies. Fortress Fencing was competitive. They were not the cheapest, but the other companies who said they could do it cheaper were also going to build a lower quality fence (only cementing corner posts and NO warranties or guarantees on work or materials). Poor quality work – These guys give what sounds to be a reasonable estimate (in line with the others I recieved), do the work within a few days, but the quality of their fences have much to be desired. They put in our fence two years ago, many of the boards started to warp then the fence started to fall apart in several sections; all shortly after a year. They damaged a couple things on our property (one by backing in to it) and claimed they didn't do it; that it was already like that. Save yourself a headache and don't have... read more
