Hello, so I’ve been trying to rebuild my credit. On May 18th I paid off a capital one card and my TransUnion vantage score dropped 35 points to 548. Didn’t see an increase. The next week I paid off another card (fortiva) and I saw my Equifax score drop 40 points down to 538. So, for the past few months I’ve just paid off my student loans and because I only received mail from one company, I assumed that my government and private loans were both being collected by the one company sending bills.
