Memories I attended FWB High School between the years 2000-2002, and I liked it very much. At first I used to complain, but then I compared it to many other schools and found that this one is not so bad after all. The facility is pretty updated, and the school has a lot of money to spend on recreation and after-school programs, so many students discover hobbies and wish to pursue them. The school itself is pretty big, with about 2700 kids, and the graduation rate is high. The teachers are pretty nice and laid-back, and in ge... read more

Natzi style Basicly the punishment at Ft.watlon beach works in whatever way they want it to. The administators will not hesitate to bend the rules for students they like, or dislike. My son just transfered to this school from colligant high. His phone was taken up during a class and I was the only one able to go pick it up for him. So being that I have serious work to attend to, much more serious than a cell phone I was did not get to the school for a couple days. By that time my son accumulated many missed calls, seeing as ... read more

my kids go here Of course my kids complain about it but from a parent's point of view, this is a great school. Anytime I've had a problem I've been able to have a meeting with the powers that be and get a resolution. Lots of activities and clubs available, caring teachers, good discipline.

Overall a great institution I currently attend FWBHS, and can say that their wide variety of extracurricular activites as well as offered classes satisfy my needs. In response to 'Natzi Style'(who couldn't spell his way out of elementary school), I offer the Code of Conduct for reference: http://www.fwbvikings.com/PDF/Student%20Planner%202007-2008.pdf Concerning cell phone usage(which I find other students already getting away with too much), here is an excerpt: The use of cellular devices by students is banned at Fort Walto... read more

Gentlemen or Deliverance? Natzi style you really have to be kidding me... better yet -- yourself. There are rules -- period. No special rules for your Princely son -- just the rules. No phones, iPods, etc during school is THE rule. Your son knew this as it is posted in nearly every classroom throughout America. I am sure there was no royal decree that gave your heir to your family fortune of intellect a free pass. There are many schools throughout America that wish they had the efficiency of the parking lot attendant to mult... read more

Good High School I attended Ft Walton Beach Senior High School for four years and it was a wonderful experience. Most of the teachers were very caring about their students. There always a lot of different extra curriculum activities for students after school. My memories back at FWBHS will always be some of the dearest of my life.
