Tucked away in the high mountain pines is a unique military rec area. Offers access to mountain biking, disc golf, trails and the unique town of Flagstaff, AZ.
My family was so excited to stay in these cabins. We have stayed in lots of cabins and understand wild life is normal. Except these cabins are not well taken care of. We walked in and walked straight into spider webs. The refrigerator was gross. Then when I went to get my kids ready for bed a wolf spider popped out of the blankets and another from under the pillow. I checked in to learn what I need to qualify to use the place. Very nice person at desk. Very helpful. I will return once my qualifications show up on my ID. One less star because getting correct info meant showing up to the facility. Been trying to gain understanding for a year.
We had a great time and the staff was wonderful.
