We arrived at the hotel around 11:30 p.m. after a long day of driving and nearly two weeks of traveling. We checked in, settled into our room, and went straight to bed because we were exhausted. Shortly after midnight, we received a phone call from the front desk accusing us of running around and making noise. The hotel was overall a solid 4 out of 5 stars, especially considering it’s located in a very small town in a sparsely populated part of the state. The room itself was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out in a lot of ways. The beds were well-appointed, though definitely on the softer side — soft enough that I personally ended up sleeping on the floor. Check-in was smooth and friendly. Room clean. However, previous guests did smoke in room (my husband and I both smelled it). I was frustrated because they didn’t have coffee pot in room and I was told that would be available. We have a pet - pet deposit was high but understandable. However - room was as clean as we found it. Should receive partial deposit back.
