Not luxurious but totally comfortable and functional for staying at such a cool place. Room was sparse (no microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc) but clean, cozy, good temperature control, nothing janky in the bathroom. Friendly and helpful front desk. The only problem I had was with the WiFi, which wasn’t working. Super simplistic. Reflects the nature of the lodge "back in the day" when life was simple and the soldiers were here. Everything is spotlessly clean. Our 4th time to stay here. We stay at lodge and board horses in stalls.

Bathrooms and there is laundry but it is down in the horse barn... read more

We stayed in the Bunkhouse/Lodge and I loved the simple, spartan room. With no TV, we were encouraged to just enjoy the park and what it has to offer. We went on a stage coach ride, ate good food, hiked around, saw the museum and just sat on the porch and enjoys the weather. Being disconnected for a bit was very nice and I would highly recommend it.
