Arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday and found it deserted and doors locked. No sign posted indicating reason for closure.
FOOD INTOXICATION… :-( To the owner: please improve your preserve food methods… Been there May 19, 2025 as Canadian tourists. I’ve eaten at supper time a croissant with ham and cheese + a flan (dessert). A few hours later, started my strong vomiting sessions every hour for 9 hours. Sick, I had to stay at the hotel for an additional night. Went to this café after my vacation and it appears to have closed down. The Broadway skytrain construction has likely hurt business too much. Fortunately, the other location at 1126 Robson street is still going strong and will be our go to spot for our group. They've changed the name to le belisse café. Everything remains the same. Would recommend going there for a unique French style café experience with pastries not found anywhere else.
Absolute garbage coffee. Maybe come here if you want Instagram pastries but if you have a mouth that enjoys coffee keep on jogging. Yikes X 1,000,000. Barf.
