Useless, go to Lethbridge instead. My wife way there for 4 hours before turned her away and dismissed her issues as period pain. Definately not the case.
Fort Macleod Health Centre should be ashamed of its staff and system. I’m not surprised by how broken the healthcare system is, but I am shocked by how badly this hospital neglected an individual with a third-degree burn covering their entire right leg. A nurse literally told them to “buy some Polysporin” and sent them home. Because of that neglect, they ended up being transferred to the Calgary Burn Clinic, where they needed skin graft surgery. I was extremely disappointed by my experience with the doctor during an ER visit. I arrived anxious about a bleeding wound, and to my shock, the doctor barely looked at it and then when she did, she called it "disgusting." This was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel humiliated. I want to acknowledge the nurses, who were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.
