I saw Dr Burgess last Friday as an emergency patient and was very impressed with the treatment I received from him and the entire staff at the Ft Lauderdale Retina Institute. I would recommend highly recommend this facility to anyone with eye conditions needing expert care.
Had an appointment. Waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half. Unacceptable. They had no problem rushing to get me to pay upfront though.
Dr Burgess is one of the most professional eye surgeons around. He literally saved my eye when I had a detached retina
Patrina is going to be the downfall of Dr. Burgess. This lady does not need to be in a front office setting. She keeps confusion up and has selective hearing. Dr. Burgess cancelled me as a patient because I rescheduled my vtrectomy after Hurricane Dorian. This doctor needs to be careful how he handles his patients. It only takes the wrong patient to be rubbed the wrong way. Glad I found them out before I had surgery. The best doctors are just like fish in the sea. There are plenty to bite my hook.
