My son was seen at Urgent Care on Tues Evening 1/14 at approx 7pm for cold/flu symptoms. Was tested for strep, infuenza, rsv & covid. Couldnt get lab results before we left at approx 9pm except for negative strep test. Gave him dismissal papers & advised they would call asap with any positive test results. Well about 24 hrs later, he received a called from someone at the facility. Really??? Come to find out he logged into his account overnight & found out he has covid & influenza. Got there no one in waiting room my brother was taken to a waiting room where he sat for over an hour. Other people came and went before him with no major problems. Won't be going there again. If it's staff problems need to hire more.
In the past six months I’ve been here twice for myself and once for my six year old son…. I can confidently say that all three times were fast, professional, kind, and worked seamlessly with my insurance. Not sure what else you can ask for with healthcare! I think in a sea of healthcare disappointment… they are doing it right! Thank you Fort urgent care! Keep up the great work!
Urgent care facility said to be “in network” after visit I got billed for an er room specifically after triple checking before being seen that I was being seen by urgent care and they assured me yes only urgent care and then on top of that I get billed for an out of network physician! Would never recommend going here if you are tight on money ! The actual health care staff were nice enough and seemed to care about my health but the billing is ridiculous!
If I could give zero stars that would be it. $1,058 for a strep test (with insurance) is INSANE! Facility said my insurance was “in network” but sent a claim to my insurance that the physician that treated me was “out of network” no discussion with this urgent care was had with me prior to being seen. Secondly, inaccurate timeframe of being seen was coded on billing and claim sent to my insurance. Stay away from this urgent care facility.
