The worst military housing I’ve ever been in. The floors in my home are trash and you can visibly see the damage on the floor. My family has been stepping on carpet staples since we moved in. No matter how much I vacuum I can’t seem to get them all. My house is small for what we pay for it. I’ve also had venders damage my property and have yet to be called back from them to come fix it. Very, very disappointing. Stay away if you can. Balfour Beatty uses the cheapest materials to build these homes, don’t take care of them at all, and care only for your money. We had a poor experience with Fort Eustis Family Homes and paid much more than this home was worth in rent every month. We chose to move off post as a result. Also be aware that they will charge you two months rent upon leaving, we were accustomed to the one month, 30 day notice that is customary with military housing, but they have it in the contract t... read more

They let people smoke weed and cigarettes inside the homes so if you are looking for a house that wreaks of cigarettes and weed you’ve found it. Worst military housing I’ve ever lived in. Ventilation systems are connected so enjoy that second hand smoke.
My wife and I put in a maintenance request last night and they had someone to the house within the hour. Rafael was very courteous and professional! Very glad they have such great Technicians on call for emergencies!
