Friendly staff answered all of my questions and even recommended me other shops to help with my specific issue.
What a wonderful owner and company. I had an issue with my vehicle a few weekends ago on a Saturday. They were closed but I was able to get ahold of the owner Kevin. He came in on his day off and helped us with a simple issue. After getting me going I offered to pay him and he wouldn’t take any money for it being such a small issue in his eyes. I have to say it helped me immensely and I would definitely recommend Fort Dodge Transmission for anyone needing help with their vehicle.
My family brought in a vehicle that had nothing wrong with it for a routine service. They messed up the service causing the vehicle to malfunction when driving away. My family immediately brought the vehichle back for them to check. They told us it was fine and to ignore it, it would correct itself. It didn't correct itself, we live out of town so had to drive back and have a 2nd car come to leave the vehicle because they weren't going to fix it anytime soon. From a shop standpoint I will never even call them for a price on a transmission again, nonetheless buy one from them. Their prices are completely asinine, they continue to raise their prices through the roof and put their warranty through the floor, as compared to their competition. Recently priced a transmission from them for a 2014 chevy pickup, they were 1500 higher than Certified transmission and Certified has a by far better warranty.
