I checked it out for my mom. The smell was awful. The floors were filthy! They were almost black. The stairs outside were crumbling, the railings were rusted, and I saw empty booze bottles laying around. This place needs to be shut down!
My loved one is currently a resident at this facility and I feel obligated to share our experience for anyone researching care options Upon admission we noticed the facility has a persistent unpleasant odor, and the physical condition of the building reflects a lack of basic maintenance. I wouldn't trust a nursing home with swamp coolers on the roof and window units in the windows. I feel bad for anyone that has a loved one at this place. I can imagine how muggy and hot it must get. Swamp coolers might be okay for a house but I can't imagine it is good for the elderly and immunocompromised. These pull in the smokey air from outside constantly and grow mold.
Hi. My brother Richard Koury has been at your Facility for almost a year now and when I talk with him from my home in Fresno, CA, he always seems depressed and improperly cared for. My complaints with your Facility is mostly when I do call, I'm either hung up on or left "on hold" for several minutes while attendants try to get my brother to come to the phone.
