My interactions with this office while trying to secure housing were pretty atrocious. The individual who was contacting me was not helpful at all and I'm fairly certain she just waited until it was obvious I had found other housing to call me back and ask if I was still interested after I declined two small houses with lead based paint. I couldn't even get photos of the houses. She would just send a neighborhood name and ask if I wanted it. My family and I spent a little over 3 yrs in the Lower Beaumont community the was theres a walkable path around the neighborhood the house had plenty of storage, the back yard was big and enclosed perfect for hosting visitors, Ruth the woman that moved us in was very sweet and always answered any questions I had when we arrived, I loved the view of the mountains from my kitchen window and the view of the city at night, the bad Ruth left not long after we got there, our move in date was pushed back because there was water fro... read more

Fort Bliss housing is a total scam. They’ll charge you for normal wear and tear like it’s damage. I just got hit with a $650 charge for paint — even though they tell you you’re not allowed to paint or touch the walls in the first place! The houses are old and already worn when you move in, but somehow they expect them to look brand new when you leave. They also try to nickel and dime you for everything. $35 for a blind that costs $10 at Walmart? Come on. It’s ridiculous how they treat Soldiers and families who already deal w... read more

I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to live in this trash housing. Mold, plumbing issues, insect infestation, power outages, old houses. It’s inhumane to live like this. Good riddance hell Paso and fort bliss!!
