Update 2026: While I LOVE the food Forrester's offers, the prices have gone up so much this year that I can't justify eating here for lunch anymore except for a special treat. For example: 2 eggs, links, toast, & hashbrowns is $18 EEEEK! Even a cup or bowl of soup went up, so I tend to choose other local diners for soup/sandwich so I can still tip and not pay $20 per day for lunch. Great options for delicious homemade cooking for everyone! I'm a picky salad eater and always have a portion of lettuce and toppings that are too wilted for my taste, but not here! Every bite is fresh and just perfect!
Extremely slow service. Waited an hour and half for food to arrive. Our server barely checked on us. My steak was cold! Poor food quality on all four dishes ordered. Never going back even for free.
Very delicious and the service was absolutely on point. We definitely return!
