When I saw Dr Swann, I’d already lost 95% of vision in my left eye. All he could really make an educated guess on is that it was optic neuritis (which it was) and the cause of it he was unsure of. He was forthcoming saying he couldn’t make the optic neuritis diagnosis, and extremely understanding of the scary situation I was in as he knew time was of the essence if I had any chance of getting some of my vision back. I had surgery 3 years ago and some how the lens slipped out of place… at the time he did great he even took a picture of my eyes to a world conference to better his career and gain money from my situation with no compensation. Well 3 years later I had to have another surgery and they didn’t use the same prescription. Now I’m back in glasses and they now want 2700 more for lasik. So after 8k I’m right back in glasses.
I am an ER Physician (post under a different name) and had Right Eye Cataract Surgery less than 5 days ago - I am having the same procedure tomorrow on my left eye. The experience has been amazing. Dr. Beau Swann and his entire office staff have been quite above my expectations and noted the vision in my right eye to be remarkably improved within 48 hrs.
