I entered Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center from Atrium Health Stanly after having a major and life saving surgery. I couldn’t get up on my own and was very dependent on the staff. I can say that most of the staff were always helpful and nice. I only had one staff member who actually showed disrespect because I asked them to do something that was so simple and I couldn’t do it myself. There should be enough staff members to have more than one person to a hall. People can only be in one place at a time. These CNA’s work hard. T... read more
I have worked with many DONs but I cannot fail to mention the DON at Forrest Oaks who goes above and beyond to ensure that her staff are taken care of but most importantly the residents are always put first and that their care is a priority. There’s never been a time that I was there where she did not make herself available.
