One of the issues I have is my sister not kept dry and clean. The other is lack of respect for the elderly, no matter what their situation is. Persons taking care of residents has a duty and should fulfill it with pride. Not all caregivers are ment for this field. If you are there just for the paycheck you are in the wrong job. My aunt has been a resident at Forrest Oakes Nursing Home for nearly four months, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful care she’s received. If you love your family member do NOT put them in this place my Mom was there for a year and the weekend she died my sister was not even there and call and just said she had power of attorney and did not have it but the lady in the office was so racist she told her word on phone without even checking with me because I was white and she didn't like me because I ask her not to talk to my Mom hateful like she talked to every resident in the home if they where not just like her and she even went so few as to call the cops on me ... read more
My mother was there before she passed away. The level of care is pretty much bottom of the barrell. The actual RN was great I must say. But the rest....questionable. if you're Able to send your loved one somewhere else I'd do that first
