We stayed in the lovebird cabin 2 for our honeymoon, and it was quality and we had a great time. The resort has a few good options for activities, good food, and all of the staff was friendly. Also, there is a concerning review regarding the cabin we stayed in, talking about something paranormal. It spooked us reading that, but we stayed there 4 nights and did not notice anything. Either a troll review or they had a bad trip

Dahlonega as a whole was very good to us, but Forrest Hills resort was amazing! So relaxing, so quiet, so serene. The horse on our carriage ride, Mr. Hercules, was so adorable, smart, attentive, and clearly well cared for. Everyone was so nice, the food was good and convenient (especially for the drinkers), the hot tub was just a world of bliss, and the cabin is so cozy, you will never want to leave. 10/10 experience and we will be back, frequently. I wish I could turn around and go back right now.

None of their cabins are our hot tub room faced the cabin about 100 ft away. i had to go buy sheets just to feel private. on top of that we couldn't turn on the hot tub because if you did the water would be scolding hot within 5 mins. we drove in the middle of the night to get ice to cool it down 3bags and still was smoking hot. when we told the desk at checkout she said maintenance knew thanks for charging such a high price for a not p... read more

My husband and I were married here and stayed here as well. The place was amazing! The room we stayed in was out of this world! We enjoyed the sounds of nature from our porch and finished the evening off in the hot tub right off our bedroom. They have journals to document your stay and it's fun to read other entries. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. If I could give any feedback, the breakfast was good but a little on the cold side. Otherwise, I recommend this to anyone who enjoys nature, peace, and friendliness. It's ... read more

The venue is truly beautiful and was a lovely setting for our wedding—but unfortunately, the planning experience was frustrating. Partway through, our experienced coordinator was replaced with someone much less familiar with weddings, which led to several mistakes on the day (including my partner and I seeing each other before our first look). I also had to repeatedly remind the venue of details from our original contract, as I was sent revised plans with incorrect meal choices and start times. When I raised concerns, the ow... read more
