The manager is rarely at the office. The sign says Open but most of the times is closed just not to say always close unless you make an appointment. The land rent is expensive $ 350 taking into account that does not include anything. They increased the rent because they needed money to repair a road that was closed for a year. Now that they are finally repairing the road the are cutting of water without any notice and now we have to pay for the water that is being wasted. The managers have turned the water off to the whole community and shut their phone off, so no one can get in contact with them. The lack of communication is horrible. I recommend everyone that lives here contact the health department! Their phone number is 828-250-5211. Leave a detailed message of what is going on. They are breaking the law by shutting our water off and not telling us any information on when it will be turned back on. Also, they do not even have anyone out here working to fix the issue. This community has breath taking views. What a wonderful place to live.
Recommendation: find another place to live. I sure wish I had. Owner is out of state. On-site managers are not helpful. Sewer system is in a poor state; I've lived here since July 2017 and am now experiencing the second sewer break on my lot. All they do is collect your money, and give you nothing in return.
