Pasta review incoming…. I’m honestly not impressed. Sure the pasta is homemade but it’s not even made el dente, it’s before that it’s too hard. It’s to the point it’s not enjoyable and trust me as an Italian I cook my pasta el dente. The sauce is okay, definitely not bad, Alfredo pesto was quite rich but overall okay. Came in 10 minutes after getting a text confirming order was ready to be picked up. Drove over and they had not even started. Told me they’d start it right away and would take 10-15 minutes. Came back 20 minutes later and still nothing. About 10 minutes later asked if they had an update because I was in a rush now to head out they said a couple of minutes. Got the veg-head pizza, and it came out in about 15 minutes, fresh, piping hot, and overly perfect. The amount of toppings to cheese ratio was on point, and it was a perfect amount for two moderately hungry people. My accomplice even said it was "best pizza I've ever had in calgary" the man working there was very kind, and all in all thsi was a 10/10 experience. Thanks!
Food was good, its a shame thier attitudes weren't. I can appreciate that we arrived at busy time but what could have been improved was how they spoke to us. There was no sorry for the inconvenience, no consideration for customer service, it was more berating us for it being busy. Like we should have picked a different time to order our pizza and it taking a long time was on us kind of vibe. It was unpleasant enough that the quality of pizza isn't enough for a return visit.
