Kroger Pharmacy Feb 2014 Kroger pharmacy in Prospect really needs to revamp their communications system! Our Vet called in 2 RX's for our dog Chip (who literally doesn't have use of his back legs without these RX's) this morning. I called Kroger at 1:15 to see if they were ready yet - "no the call must still be on the answering machine". I told them I would be coming thru Prospect within the next hour, so could they please get it pulled and ready to p/u? Sure! I have been using the Prospect Kroger pharmacy for about 6 months. The pharmacists have been very accommodating and helpful. The only problems I have encountered have been because ExpressScripts' system has been at fault. The pharmacists were forced to charge me but helped me get the insurance straightened out and refunded promptly when the insurance payment was made.
The prospect kroger bakery and deli department is the worst ever! The bakery made a kids birthday cake for me *days* in advance and left it on a shelf! Then didnt understand why i refused to buy it! They have messed up cupcakes for my son as well! Now the deli made a completely wrong kids tray for my 3 year old son's snack for preschool. My sister ordered a turkey, ham, mild chedder, and another kind of cheese with grapes kids tray days ago and they never told her they don't do kids trays! Today, I called a RX in for a patient who needed some medicine badly for nausea. I called it in about 3:15pm. When the patient went in to get it@2 hours later, the pharmacists denied having the perscription called in! This has happen twice in the last 3 weeks with Kroger Pharmacies. The other Kroger pharmacy was in Frankfort, KY.
