I recently moved to Denver and went into forma collective salon to get a haircut. I am historically picky, I sat down in Vanessas chair and was met with not only great conversation but a welcoming environment. I left with the only haircut I have ever loved fresh out of the door. Cannot recommend the salon and stylist enough!
came in super nervous about getting a cut as the last place i went didnt do well. Venesa is truly an angel walking, she gave me exactly what i wanted, and evened out my color i did at home myself! truly one my best experiences at a salon and can't wait to come back :)
First of all, Alyssa is an amazing hair stylist for my cuts & color. I have thinner, blonde hair, and she does an amazing job making it healthy & FULL of volume. She listed to my fears after having an unfortunate shag haircut at another salon (and getting my hair WAY too bleached), and has slowly nursed my hair back to health. Love this place! Clean and chic but not intimidating. Alyssa did a spectacular job with the right cut for the type of hair I have and nailing the color I hoped for! I have so much hair that it’s usually such a chore to sit through but it felt quick and comfortable working with Alyssa, even after 6hrs.
Many of the staff/stylists seem super authentic, which is beautiful. I do wish there was more price-transparency prior to services being rendered. I went for full high-light and my stylist suggested a root smudge. I was under the impression this is just a highlight technique built into the cost of the service I booked. By the end, I was charged an extra $100 for a “Glaze and Blowdry” (I am assuming this is what the stylist tagged the root smudge under, since we definitely didn’t discuss a glaze).
