Beautiful small pond with picnic stools, and on some spots are fire rings. Great place for paddleboarding. We had a nice walk around the pond with kids, beautiful nature around. You need to buy a Kananaskis Conversation pass when you are parking there (15$ per day). I recommend buying it before you get there because there is no signal and internet.
Nice little pond, with picnic tables. Great for begginner paddle boarding and boating. No cell reception in the area. Clean and clear pond. Close to Calgary SW/SE. Pit toilets available Ample parking outside Dont forget to purchase your KPass. NEVER go here during holidays, the place is packed! Canada day, was over flowing. Cars were parked on the side of the main road and park police are ticketing.
Came here to paddleboard on a weekend so it was very busy. Definitely recommend to come early as the parking lot is small and spots are very limited. There are lots of picnic tables and fire pits around the pond which is perfect for a picnic or BBQ. There is a paved path from the parking lot to and around the pond making it accessible for everyone.
