But if someone asks me for a recommendation, my first choice is always Bob Kovacs of Forge Construction. His work holds up because he is hands on and is a presence on all his jobs, overseeing the work of his subcontractors , who are loyal to him because he pays them a fair price and in a timely fashion. Bob Kovacs did a complete remodeling of my home as I bought a place, gutted it, hired a designer, then called Bob who was highly recommended by my decorator. He did not disappoint. His crews were efficient and he was always available and on site. They were neat and cleaned up every night. Their workmanship was fantastic whether it was flooring, painting, lighting, carpentry, plumbing, etc. The schedule was adhered to.
