I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the same-day booking system currently in place at the practice. The current model, which restricts telephone queues to a maximum of 15 callers, is not fit for purpose and is preventing patients from accessing necessary care. Despite making over 50 calls across three consecutive days, I was unable to secure an appointment. Can never get through, ringing through from 08:30 when the lines open, 10th in the queue but get cut off and not queued due to being at capacity even though it's under the 15 limit. Happens every time and it's disgusting

The dr I spoke to was a joke, refused to give me sleeping tablets even though I’ve used them responsibly, I was given 7 zopiclone tablets on December which lasted me till march. I was given 10 temazepam tablets in march and used most of them to go to the dentist. My mental health is the worst it’s ever been, I can’t sleep I’ve been sh and the dr advise was to lower my mirtazipine dose to 15mg. I had a heart attack 4 years ago and a stent fitted - yet aftercare from this surgery has been nil. As a person over 70 this condition makes me a vunerable person particulary as I have a compromised auto- immune system. Yet I still can't get an appnt.or any advice from a practice GP despite -currently'- having a severe kidney infection with worsening symptoms.
