Forestfarm is an on-line mail order plant nursery and part of the non-profit Pacifica: A Garden in the Siskiyous. We specialize in growing useful and ornamental plants. With over 40 years of experience in propagating our own plants, we have one of the largest selections in the country. We also welcome walk-ins if you would like to see our nursery! We are open for walk-in customers Mon-Fri from 9am to 3pm.

Rare to find tree arrived in PERFECT condition. Not a single leaf was damaged during shipping. Shipping is pricey but when accounting for the low cost of the trees, it evens out.
A hidden gem if you’re local. A national treasure if you’re not. One year ago I bought four fruit trees and some shrubs. They have all survived the winter and are showing signs of a promising spring. I just returned for more shrubs and vines. Greg has helped me a few times in narrowing down my wish list and picking the best plants of the available selection. Beautiful hard to find trees. Great customer service and expertly packed. Reasonable plant prices, if you order the larger trees shipping can be pricey.
I have been ordering from Forestfarm for 25 years (zone 7). As much as I love this nursery and their extensive catalogue, it pains me to say that their quality is really hit and miss and has declined over the past 25 years. For example, last year (2022) I ordered 4 tube-sized Fagus sylvatica Black Swan. 1 was nicely sized, 1 was really puny, and 2 were so-so in-between. 6 months later, only the nicely-sized one is doing well.
