Such a lovely morning on the water for our family of four with kids. We especially loved paddling through the wetlands, so peaceful and quiet, and seeing the minks was definitely a highlight for all of us. Ryan was a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable and easy to chat to. He made sure the kids felt comfortable and engaged throughout. We had an amazing afternoon on the water. Ryan was a great guide, and we learned a lot about the area. The lake was beautiful, with the fall colours starting to show. We had some wind on the water, but everything went smoothly. Would love to do this tour again!
Bit of delayed for review for Ryan and Shana at Forest the Canoe. I want to thank them both with helping to book the right tour experience for my first trip to the Soo and Algoma area for my Group of Seven tour route. I had successfully completed the fall hiking tour on Robertson Cliffs and had been a great experience, a tough one for a fairly new hiker, and was very happy with Ryan’s patience and kindness throughout the hike, the chats, and the views that are stunning. We had a lovely morning canoe tour with Ryan this past weekend where we travelled across Goulais Bay and into the Goulais River. The weather was perfect and Ryan was an amazing guide, teaching us all about the biodiversity in the area as well as giving insights into the geography and history of the community. I suspect we'll be back for another adventure in the future! PS - the lemon cookies he shared with us were to die for!
Popped in to rent a kayak for a day, awesome family excellent service!
