The testing that Dr. Thatcher of Forest Psychological clinic did for us was thorough, in depth and complete. He and his staff were professional, but kind and made a difficult process as comfortable as possible. We had gotten testing before that was incomplete. I’ve known Dr. James Thatcher since our graduate training over a decade ago, and he has always been an exceptional clinician. His ability to connect with children and teens, especially those with autism and ADHD. He uses a strengths-based, compassionate approach in therapy that helps kids feel understood, supported, and confident. Families in Portland are fortunate to have such a skilled child psychologist at Forest Psychological Clinic!
It is difficult to find a clinic that does all of the ADHD/ASD testing in one day AND that accepts insurance - Forest Psychological Clinic does BOTH! My family member saw Dr. Virani and she is a gem. She is warm, compassionate, and intelligent. Highly recommend!
