I was about to sign a lease at Forest Pines Apartments, but I found the management’s policies and treatment very disappointing. They only allow prospective tenants to view a furnished model unit, not the actual apartment they will be renting until after signing the lease. I have no problem paying application fees, but I cannot commit to a lease without inspecting the actual unit. (5/29/26): This place has a severe wasp infestation that they will not deal with. Ever since I had wasps fly into my living room while trying to enjoy my balcony, I have been asking them to get a handle on the amount of wasps in the complex. I want to make it clear that I am no stranger to bugs or living in the south. I am an avid camper and outdoor enthusiast and have lived in central Texas my whole life.
