Great Russian bathhouse in NYC.The bathhouse was clean, employees were super nice .A great place to relax ,beautiful large pool. After the bath house we went to their restaurant, the food was simply amazing. It was just like my moms home cooking. If your looking for a Russian bathhouse in NYC, this is the place to go. you will not be disappointed.
Not worth the price – Pros: The location is convenient and secluded. Large swimming pool for a quite small place. Restaurant is on sight. Cons: The customer service is not pleasant. I felt not welcomed there. No one greets you nor smiles at you there. On weekends it gets crowded. That's especially inconvenient considering their small Sauna. They have only 4 beds to lie down on and they are packed very close to each other. No robes provided. And the price, $30, is not worth all that. $20 top and I would've given it 4 stars.
A Little Slice of Heaven – Having been to other bath houses in other boros, I like my little slice of heaven in Queens, and being from Long Island it's only a short drive away. The renovation that was done , turned a dump into a palace ( thank you Boris). You don't have to be Russian to enjoy a great shvitz, you just have to enjoy a good ti... read more
Must go! – Cozy - that's the proper word for Forest Hills Spa. A beautiful large pool dominates the main Forest Hills Spa area. A whirlpool and a cold plunge are next to it. A wooden corridor with benches for relaxation leads from the pool to steam rooms. The Russian steam room is exactly what one would expect from a Russian bath: stone walls, wooden benches and stove in the center. A room and stove may be a little too small (cozy), but otherwise perfect. A dry sauna and a Turkish room are clean and pleasant - though nothing... read more
a great place to relax after a hard days work – went here on a suggestion from a few co workers and it turned out to be great, very relaxed atmosphere, nice staff, low prices and I was surprisingly much more stress free the following day. I definitely reccommend a dip in the hot tub and check out the steam room. I'll check out the steam room another time!
