Very poor bedside manner from the owner Traci. My family and I are dealing with the death of my father and instead of being kind and caring and walking us through this. She finds it her place to tell us we are making her stuff uncomfortable for asking how he is doing that day or why didn't he eat or etc...and that obviously we are not handling the fact that he is dying maybe we should go by some books. My Grandmother has been a resident at Forest Haven for almost 5 years and my husband and I wouldn’t have her anywhere else. We love Forest Haven, all the staff and the owner Tracy are great! The place is always clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff are very attentive and caring for our grandmothers needs. The manager Karen is always very helpful with arranging appointments and keeping us informed of care plans. They have a great activities director Julie who is so nice. Forest Haven was home for our mother for the past several years. We have a very large and close family, and we enjoyed the privilege of being involved in Mom's well-being. She enjoyed regularly scheduled activities, arts and crafts, musical entertainment and year-round holiday celebrations. As a family we were always welcome! Forest Haven is a very beautiful facility. Staff is very helpful and happy. Residents always look very clean at all times. The home is very clean and smells wonderful. Every time I have set foot in the building I have always been greeted and helped to the fullest extent. Residents were treated with the upmost respect!! I would trust my loved ones at Forest Haven!!! Families appear to be very happy with the care that their loved ones receive.
