A psychologist at this practice dismissed my father from grief counseling after 2 sessions saying 'he was fine'. This is completely unprofessional. 2 sessions is barely enough time to form rapport with a client, let alone assess that they don't need further therapy. Seriously questioning the skill or responsibility at this practice that they would dismiss clients from therapy after barely talking to them, especially when the client themself hasn't said they want to stop therapy.
I don't have adequate words to describe the immense impact therapy has had on my life. The team at Foresight has been incredibly caring, helpful, kind and compassionate throughout all communication. My therapist in particular was instrumental in helping me overcome challenges and get to where I am today. I can highly recommend the team at Foresight Psychology.
This is a service where one Psychologist appears to self-aggrandise by deriding and diminishing the status and competency of Psychiatrists who share in the care of patients. This ready credulity and siding with unconfirmed misinformation is called “splitting”, and it is harmful to the overall welfare of the client.
