I highly recommend taking your car to Gene. I was told by everyone buying a foreign car (jetta) was going to hit me hard in the wallet when it came to service, but the cost for repair was very reasonable. Had starter issues and had my car fixed in less than 2 days. Also he is very picky about part quality, which is very important, who wants to replace the same item more than once.
