Today, I went to Bronx Eye Care to pick up my contact lens prescription. Unfortunately, the wrong prescription was in the system, and a doctor needed to override it. Since I couldn’t wait around, I asked for the corrected prescription to be emailed to me. The male receptionist agreed, but then a female receptionist stepped in and claimed it couldn’t be sent due to HIPAA regulations.
