We eat at Forage Kitchen whenever we are in town. Amazing fresh food. The Power bowl is a favorite.
Food is always fresh, tasty. I love the black organic rice. Their meatballs are so delicious! And so is their smoked salmon!
For starters, the service was insanely slow. It took 20 minutes to even get my to-go make your own bowl made. If that wasn’t bad enough they didn’t even give me full portions of what I was supposed to get, my chicken was cold and they gave me guacamole instead of the plain avocado. My wife and I ate at Forage Kitchen Brookfield on 7/23. I had the Local Roots bowl and she had the Thai bowl—no shared ingredients except one: we both had them tossed in the same dressing. Almost exactly four hours later, we were both violently ill—vomiting and unable to leave the bathroom for about 12 hours, and it didn't let up until our systems were completely empty.
