I loved working with Valerie! She’s very knowledgeable and amazing! When we booked her a year in advance she told us to think about what we wanted the ceremony to be like and told us about the varying unity ceremonies that I never thought of and was very patient and kind. Leading up the wedding she gave a long call and got to know us and wrote a script for us to proofread and able to change anything we wanted to. Valerie did an amazing job officiating our wedding! She listened to what we wanted, and made our vision come to life! The ceremony was perfect (well, at least her part was). I got a nosebleed in the middle of saying my vows, and she even entertained our guests while I ran to the bathroom to take care of it! She truly went above and beyond, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant.
Valerie was amazing for our wedding! We had a family friend who was going to officiate but backed out last minute. My now husband and I were hesitant about finding someone that we didn't know online but we don't regret it one bit. Valerie was very compassionate and accepting of the non traditional wedding we were wanting and even sent a script prior so that we could know ahead of time what was to be said and make any adjustments if needed. I would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone in the future!
We had a last minute wedding and Rev Valerie was quick to say yes to us. As a lesbian couple we unfortunately have to be careful who we ask, Rev Valerie was so sweet and accepting! We did a very simple elopement on the steps of the capitol while we still have the chance and she took care of everything. Ensuring we had our license in time, and offering to mail it out for us. I'd highly recommend Rev Valerie if you're in need of an officiant.
