Essentially the same package as if you went to Sunshine hospital, just in a brand new building I think I got the most expensive blood and urine test ($600) done as an international. Only for the urine test result being lost. I went to the emergency with some serious concerns and was told to follow up with the GP. I spoke with the doctor in charge, who was having face gestures like he had the same pain as I did, only due to being asked questions as anyone would in my position. I was admitted to the Emergency Department (ED) for a head injury, and overall my experience had both challenges and positives. I arrived around 4:30pm, but the queue and wait time in the ED were quite long. It took until about 9:00pm before I was finally admitted, as I had to wait for a bed to become available. The air conditioning also felt quite cold during the night, especially since I was only wearing shorts, which made the wait a bit uncomfortable. I would like to sincerely thank the ambulance paramedics, nurses and doctors who made my emergency stay at Western Health early Monday morning both a relief and enjoyable experience.
