We had an unforgettable 2-day, 1-night kayaking and camping tour with Footprint Kayak. The scenery was breathtaking, the kayaking was peaceful and the wildlife encounters were extraordinary. We were VERY lucky to see both a humpback whale and a pod of killer whales, all from our kayaks - what an experience!! Would give 6 stars if it was an option! John was very professional, very safety conscious, absolutely tireless and genuinely good company. Food was super delicious (and healthy), and equipment provided for the 6 day tour was first rate.
Had the pleasure of sea kayaking with Wendy today! Saw so much wildlife and she was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an adventure!
John runs a tight show! Great guide and very knowledgable of the Desolation Sound area. As beginners, he gave great tips to navigate dynamic weather and waters which made the paddling less stressful. I really enjoyed our food. They were delicious, calorie dense and nutritionally balanced — perfect for post kayaking refuel! He has good historical and nature filled fun facts which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Met John een dagtocht in de kajaks gemaakt langs de verschillende Copeland eilanden. John zit vol kennis van de omgeving, natuur en historie van het gebied en kan daar leuk over vertellen. Tijdens de tocht nog wat zeehonden tegengekomen, adelaars gespot en genoten van de natuur. Zeker aan te raden!
