Do not hire this company!! They were responsible for breaking my granite countertop and took no responsibility. They were hired to re-do my outdoor kitchen brick. They had to fire their first crew because they showed up whenever they wanted. We could NEVER get ahold of Hector, the head guy. The ladies in the office were nasty and rude. I recently had my deck wood guardrails replaced with iron. This was a bit complicated because the existing wood posts were 6x6 (rough-sawn), so they were true 6" sq., not the typical 5.5" that iron guard systems are designed for. To cover the 6" deck opening when the wood posts were removed, Footprint designed a powder coated steel plate that matched the black iron and was secured over the opening. Update: As you can see from their response, they continue to deflect responsibility. Avoid. My review stands: My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. I paid them over $10,000 and, in return, received only two half-days of labor—a completely unacceptable exchange for the amount paid. My project is incomplete and a quarter of my budget has been wasted. I encountered highly inflated costs due to 'overhead', poor and unreliable workmanship, and conflicting contract terms that made it very difficult to f... read more
Update: After reading the owner’s response, we reached out to Hector again to clarify whether he would replace the unmatched railing free of charge as he stated in his response to this review, and once again he refused saying it was too expensive for him to foot the bill on. This other company told us they could not match the colors of our deck or railing though, so we decided to contact Footprints for both an additional quote, and to see if they could match our deck and railing.
