Such a great place! The owners are so kind. Rooms were nice and very clean . We went to the cafe for breakfast and food was delicious.
The food is typically very good, but on this day we wouldn't know because we couldn't get any. Although it was Labor Day Monday, the listing read they were open till 2pm on Labor Day. Regardless of this, my wife called 3 times to make sure, but there was no answer. Because they only take cash or check, 3 out of my party of 5 had to drive to the gas station down the road to catch an atm. So while they did that, 2 of us walked thru the door of the café in case there was any wait time prior to being seated. There were 2 booths ... read more
Food is good. But the cafe only takes CASH. They lost our business because they don’t offer some form of digital payment. I understand wanting to keep income under board, but they need to offer another option OR take some form of digital payment OR offer an ATM. Poor form Foothills. Especially because they haven’t only until recently been cash only. My question is - is the motel cash only as well…?
Clean!! I honestly didn't know what to expect, I haven't stayed in a motel since the 90s and back then it wasn't a great experience. Foothill motel exceeded my expectations. It was cleaner than all the big hotels I've stayed in recently for work and yet it still has a family owned charm to it. We'll definitely be back, thanks so much for having us!
