I came in for a routine teeth cleaning, but your office billed my insurance for a more extensive cleaning that was not fully covered. I paid $111 out of pocket. Patients should be able to trust that services are coded accurately. Given that dental offices process teeth cleaning codes regularly, it is difficult for me to view this as a simple mistake. I contacted my insurance company, and they were concerned as well because I am entitled to two fully covered cleanings each year, and this visit was supposed to be one of them. ... read more
